Komeda's Coffee Nish-Shinsaibashi

Jellico is a very unique drink with the coffee jelly. Cutlets were fried to perfection, super crispy and not oily. The bread were super light and tasty.

Tried out their new autumn potato flavor menu. The flavor was very light and subtle. The ice cream was okay. The new sauce went well together with the danish. Kind of made me feel warm and cuddly on the inside. I don’t particularly like coffee jelly but the bitterness mixed well with the new flavor of the drink and helped take the edge off of how sweet it was. It might just be the color but the new menu item does feel like autumn even though it’s still crazy hot in Japan right now.

I visited Komeda's Coffee at the Shinsaibashi branch and had a delightful experience with their morning service. The coffee with azuki was a perfect blend of rich flavor and sweetness, creating a unique and enjoyable beverage. My wife opted for the cheese pizza toast, and it exceeded our expectations. Komeda's Coffee is one of my favourite breakfast chains in Japan simply because of the delicious toasts they make. I really like their Pizza Toast and their Red Bean toast. In this case we also got the Seasonal Spring Burger which was surprisingly large and very tasty. I can also recommend their special Premium "Sophia" Iced Coffee, which was actually pretty good by Japanese coffee standards. The only unfortunate part of the experience is that we were seated nearby the smoking room and the isolation on the room isn't amazing, you can still smell the smoke quite strongly.
